From "Mom"

The Missionary is maturing, getting lost in the work.  Here is his latest letter, perhaps others can be posted in time.

"So I almost forgot to send out this email... I've been sitting here for the last 15 minutes waiting, and I almost forgot to send this email... silly me. :)

Well this week was a very slow week as far as teaching goes. But I blame the meetings. We had to go to Jerome Wednesday, then Twin Falls on Friday, exchanges that same day, so Saturday we had to drive down to Shoshone. Then Sunday we had a priesthood  meeting in Carey, so we traveled a lot, but taught little.

In the Priesthood meeting, President Jensen gave us a challenge, than I am now extending to you. Go on a mission. He spoke mostly of the "expirenced" couples, or single sisters, but I feel impressed to extend this to all. :) Go on a mission. Yes that meas you grandma, yes Mom and Edward, Lora and Dad, Yes that means you, my unmarried sisters and friends, yes that means you esspecially young men. Go on a mission.

Now I have 5 minutes to tell you why.

I gained a firm, unshakeable testimony

I gained alove for all people

I gained a love for the scriptures

I gained an appreciation for my family

I am coming to know the Lord personnally.

I am blessed in sop many ways

I get fed.. .a lot :)

Think about a mission. The Lord is preparing people, he only needs people to teach them now. Make it a matter of prayer.

BEsides that... I feel great

My companion and I are gettign along better.

I am becoming more patient

I am learnign to play the piano better...

Oh! BTW I was asked to play ing Zone Conference, I played the EFY medley, but sense I only had 3 days to practice, we only did up until the men start, just before it. :)

NExt time i'll finish it. :)

love you...

bye

This week my companion and I had exchanges( Trade of missionaries) With the Zone Leader. We trades from friday until today. While we were together, I learned much about the power of the attonement to change a person's life. The effect one person can make. The value of a true friend. How to study deeper. and mostly hope to enjoy life while still being appropriate.
My testiomony of this work grows greatly, not outwardly, but inwardly. My new favorate scripture is DandC 64, 29-34, mostly 33-34. "Be not weary in well doing, you are laying the foundation of a great work..." That is my new motto, because not only am I a foundation for the lives of others, but truely a foundation for my own life. My mission will truely be a foundation of my life, and I love it.
I am sooooooo sorry that I have not written you all enough, Time is just so quickly spent, and will so much to concentrate on here, I forget you at times. Now I feel bad about it, but that's my calling right now, and when I return, it will change, and YOU will be my calling. Until then, sorry. I Lvoe you. Please forgive me..
Love
bye
